Description: Are you a pike angler that wants to experience the adventure of hiking into the wilderness of the virgin forest of the mountains, far away from civilisation? Or do you just want to have some good pike fishing and prefer the comfort of a house? Orra gives you the choice! In the first option we hike to the pike lakes, carrying everything we need on our backs, staying in tents. In the second option we arrive at the lodge by car, have access to boats and grocery stores.

Orra do not offer trophy fishing for pike. Of course, you will have a chance at 8 kg pikes, but they are rare. On the other hand pikes of 2-3 kg are common. Let us know if you want big size perch.

Choice of equipment: You can use everything from ultralight to more normal pike rods. The lakes and ponds are typically shallow, so light equipment works fine. Heavier lures than 12-15g are not suitable. Pike is not a picky fish, but on the whole, dark lures in copper, brown and green works well. Perch is the game for pike in these waters. For pike you would more use spoons and wobblers, for perch more spinners and jiggs. In the lowlands the water is brown humus, in the mountains clear. Of course, you need steel wire for the pikes.
